From Ambition to Action: Accelerating the Transition to Green Ports

VC Power was honoured to be invited as a speaker and panelist at the Green Ports 2026 International Conference: From Ambition to Action: Accelerating the Transition to Green Ports, held at Wyndham Hotel, Klang, Selangor, Malaysia on 24 September 2026. The conference was organized by Peterson Solutions (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. to bring together key stakeholders from Malaysia’s port ecosystem to discuss practical pathways for port decarbonization and emissions reduction. Apart from being as the speaker and panelist, VC Power is a supporting partner of the event.

During the conference, VC Power had delivered a presentation titled; “Electric Dreams: Are Ports Ready for E-Vessels?” as part of the Technical Session on ‘Port Electrification & Smart Energy Systems’. The session explored how ports can leverage electrification, energy storage, shore power, and smart energy technologies to reduce emissions, improve operational efficiency, and support sustainable growth, provided with solutions to the potential challenges.

As a company committed to “E-Powering Clean Seas”, VC Power shared insights from our experience in electric vessels, marine battery systems, charging infrastructure, and integrated energy solutions, highlighting the opportunities and challenges in preparing ports for the next generation of electric maritime operations.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Peterson Solutions (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. for the opportunity to contribute to this important industry dialogue. The conference provided an excellent platform for collaboration among port authorities, terminal operators, shipowners, technology providers, and policymakers who share a common goal of accelerating Malaysia’s transition toward greener and more sustainable ports.

Together, we can transform ambition into action and build the foundation for a cleaner, smarter, and more electrified maritime future.
