Harbor / Port Tug, mainly serving near-shore scenarios such as ports and shipyards. It undertakes operations like assisting ships in berthing/departing and cargo transfer within the port area. Equipped with flexible maneuverability and strong thrust, it is a core auxiliary equipment for near-water operations.
Battery System
Given its short voyage and convenient charging, this tugboat is most suitable for a pure battery-powered propulsion solution. By configuring a 5000~12000kWh battery system, it can meet the endurance requirements for one day of operation. Meanwhile, with an MW-level DC fast-charging system, the charging time can be as low as 2 hours, which efficiently matches the turnover rhythm of port operations.
Advantages
Compared with traditional fuel-powered tugboats, its advantages focus on three aspects:
1. Zero emissions — no exhaust gas or noise pollution throughout the process, which meets the environmental protection requirements of the port area.
2. Low operating costs — electricity costs are much lower than fuel costs, and the battery power system requires less maintenance.
3. High-efficiency response — fast-charging technology ensures quick energy replenishment in a short time, allowing continuous participation in multiple rounds of operations and improving port operation efficiency.
