Container Ship, mainly used for global maritime cargo transportation. It can load standardized containers for efficient loading and unloading, adapting to logistics needs of different routes, and is one of the mainstream freight carriers in the current shipping industry.
Battery System
The ship is equipped with an advanced new energy battery power system, adopting differentiated solutions for different scenarios:
- For small and medium-sized (≤1000TEU) scale and short-to-medium (≤500km) voyage scenarios, a pure battery power propulsion scheme is recommended. By configuring several cabin fixed batteries or container-type power batteries, and using battery swapping or high-power charging, the full voyage propulsion demand can be met;
- For medium-to-large scale and medium-to-long voyage scenarios, a hybrid power propulsion scheme is recommended. By configuring several cabin fixed batteries or container-type power batteries and shaft generators, zero emissions can be achieved during port entry and exit, and the operation of generator sets can be reduced during normal navigation.
Advantages
Its battery system has significant advantages:
1. Low-carbon environmental protection — zero emissions throughout the voyage in pure electric mode, and significantly reduced navigation pollution in hybrid mode;
2. Flexible adaptation — it can flexibly choose the power scheme according to the vessel scale and voyage;
3. Efficient operation — battery swapping or high-power charging can shorten energy replenishment time and improve transportation turnover efficiency;
4. Controllable cost — the energy consumption cost of battery power is lower than that of traditional fuel power in short-to-medium voyage scenarios.
